AUTHOR

When the Uniform Comes Off

A LIFE OF SERVICE

A life of service. A message with a next step.

I've served in the Army, helped coordinate humanitarian ministry in Ukraine, taught Bible, and worked to build community for veterans and military families. Across those settings, one responsibility keeps returning: care for the people in front of you and help them take the next faithful step.

Today, I bring that perspective to ministry, youth advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and public conversation. My Christian faith shapes how I serve. Listening carefully, speaking plainly, and following through shape how I lead.

FOUR EXPRESSIONS OF ONE CALLING

Where faith becomes service

MINISTRY

Ministry and discipleship

I care about helping people understand Scripture, grow in faith, and put their gifts to work in service to others. I welcome conversations with churches and ministry teams about teaching, discipleship, and leadership rooted in Jesus Christ.

NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP

Nonprofit and community leadership

A meaningful mission needs people who can carry it forward. My nonprofit and humanitarian experience has involved coordinating volunteers, building relationships, communicating needs, and turning plans into practical action.

THE NEXT GENERATION

Young people and the adults who lead them

Young people need adults who listen, encourage, and take their responsibilities seriously. My experience in Bible teaching and mentorship informs my commitment to character, belonging, and thoughtful care for the next generation.

COMMUNICATION

Speaking and meaningful conversation

I speak and write about faith, leadership, service, and finding purpose when life changes. The goal is a conversation people can connect to their own responsibilities and carry into their next step.

WHAT I BELIEVE

“Leadership is a responsibility to serve, and a person's worth reaches deeper than a title, a uniform, or an accomplishment.”
